We have a tooth!

If we could get him to stop trying to gnaw everything he can reach, we jsut might be able to get a picture of that new little tooth that poked through on Friday night.

Berry Good Baby

This is just for you Grandpa!
Remember who wore this shirt first so many years ago?
Ocean Spray should hire this little guy for some advertising :)
While I'm at it, I never posted a pic of the little man in his shirt for the 5 month mark. It still has some growing room, wonder if it will make it to 12 months?

A week of Thanksgiving

The Jackson clan came to visit again, this time for the WHOLE week! It was crazy mayhem in the house most of the time, but everyone seemed to enjoy the time together and of course we didn't want it to end.

For Monday night Family Home Evening we headed off to POPS and introduced them to the store with every flavor of soda one could think of.
Kordale even got a sample of rootbeer, that he promptly spit back out at his dad and all over his Aunt Shishi.

Double Trouble didn't miss a beat or an opportunity!

Before we all feasted we got in some exercise. Chad took the older gang to early morning football. Then organized a vicious game of kickball for the afternoon.

We went all out with the southern Thanksgiving- Chad tried out the fried turkey idea. It turned out pretty good...I called it a cardiac turkey after being immersed in all that oil!

Kordale got to sample some pie--okay, just the whipped cream part of pie.

When the day was over we found exhausted bodies scattered throughout the house. Tori fell asleep while assembling her "Black Friday" wish list

Little does she know the grown ups went and hit the sales without her. All the kids were still sound asleep when we left the house at 3:30 AM and only Jordan was stumbling out of bed when we snuck back in at 8:30 with a car full of goodies. (Oh dang it! Tori will know after she reads this post :)

Saturday came to soon and it was time to say goodbye. We had shared our sick germs with everyone and sent poor Aunt Shishi home with the beginnings of sick kiddos. Everyone had to get a final moment with Kordale and smother him with kisses, he will be nearly 1 the next time they get to see him.

Farewell Jackson's...it was a great week and we look forward to seeing you all again in June!

Jordan's Birthday 3 times over

Seems Jordan always scores multiple birthday wishes throughout the week of her birthday. This year was no different.

It started on Wednesday when she got a birthday cake delivered from Sister Hansen, Jordan's acheivement day leader. She also got a special package in the mail from Grandma Jackie with her quilt inside.

On the actual day of her big 12, mom delivered flowers to school for her.

On Friday she had a friend over from school and they partied all night. Chad was on call that night so we took the cake and went to celebrate at the clinic. The girls were in heaven! They think that's a great place for a party...afterall they can act like animals and no one will think they are out of place, they blend right in with all the other cows, horses, goats and llamas :)

Late Thankful Thursday

It's not because I was unthankful this past Thursday, it was quite the contrary. Thanksgiving day was full of fun and sunshine, too bad it had be hampered with a VERY sore throat and beginnings of a sick baby. With that, I just want to say the thing I'm most thankful for is FAMILY, this isn't restricted to just my immediate family either. I feel my family is made up many people. I have family spread around the world and they all hold a special place in my heart. Every member of my family has played a role is shaping and forming me into who I am today. I am leaving pictures off this post because I know I would leave someone off who fits into the family catergory. I just want you all to know how much I love all of you!

Happy 12th Birthday Jordan!!!

For Jordan's 12th birthday I thought I would share some of my favorite memories from over the years.

Her most recent memory happened last night on her actual birthday. Jordan went with the youth from church to the Oklahoma City Temple to participate in baptisms for the dead. She was pretty excited and nervous all in one.

I love how much Jordan has always loved the water.
She used to love to stand out in the path of the snow blower and be buried in the blowing snow.

I remember the day I brought home this skin and bones little girl, but she stole her parent's hearts from the moment she entered the world. Even though it was a LONG 9 months waiting for her to make an appearance.

Making a mess has always been a favorite of hers, from being a mud monster to making her own chocolate milk all over the couch.

Being with her dad is her favorite place to be. She enjoys going out and playing with the horses every chance she gets.

Oh the many hours of fashion shows we all have enjoyed. Jordan could play dress up with a piece of fabric when given the chance.

Her signature mark was the binky and tight curls upon her head.

Jordan has always been my little helper in the kitchen.

She is a WONDERFUL big sister and usually always willing to help.

How can we forget the time she painted herself, I think the bubble bath afterwards was her favorite thing.

Sharing so many moments with her best friend McKelle has made more memories then we can list.
Jordan, I hope you had a wonderful birthday and know how much mom and dad love you. We are proud of the young lady you are becoming and look forward to making many more memories with you!
