Honor Roll Time

Jordan and Tori both made the honor roll for this past trimester. We are pleased with both of them that they worked so hard to achieve this goal.
Jordan was on the "A" roll again and also found out she was the only 5th grade student to score an EXCELLENT on her writing assessment test. She was extremely happy to get that news.

Tori really applied herself and got on the "A-B" honor roll. It was hard work for Tori but we knew if she really wanted it she could do it!

WAY TO GO GIRLS!!!

Paula's Bang Up Life!

This past Friday night I was the lucky recipient of a rear end collision. Many of you have wanted to see pictures, so here you go. The damage doesn't look to extensive, but it sure did shake up baby Burt. He didn't want to move for quite a while afterwards, thus a trip to the ER and a night of being monitored.

This picture is for all of you inquiring, AKA NAGGING friends who have wanted to see my smiling face for a few months now.

We haven't heard the final verdict from the insurance company, but considering this trustworthy car had nearly 300,000 miles on it we don't figure they will value it at to high of a price.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!

Sewing Lessons

Tori wanted to make some doll clothes, so I took the opportunity to introduce her to the art of sewing. She watched intently as I pinned and cut out the fabric, asking questions the whole time about how I was going to get the paper off the fabric.
She wasn't quite ready to run the machine herself and as you can see she wasn't always watching what was going on. But with the help of her pushing the peddle and my fingers being in harms way of the needle we succeeded.
Here's the finished pieces. I personally think they turned out great since after all, it was my first time making doll clothes also :)
