Zippity-do-dah in Logandale

The kids and I went to Logandale over the weekend. The weather was beautiful and we all enjoyed getting to be outside from sun up to sun down. We had ALOT of people to show off Kordale to and tried to fit everyone in. Sorry if we missed you, but we will be back.
One of our stops was to our friends house, they have an awesome pirate ship playground in the backyard. But since we have been gone they added a zip line. It was a blast! Definitely a must in our back yard when we finally get one :)
We would climb up into the crow's nest and take that leap of faith,
while hanging on for dear life!
Some of us are skinny mini's and it's a piece of cake to hang on.
Rielly took his zip lining very seriously.
Lexi tried to throw in some dance moves on her final approach.
Even I got in on the excitement, but boy did I pay the price the next day. My body was SORE! I figured it was a great workout, so I would love to go again.
Kordale hung out on the grass with his new friend. They were seeing what it will be like to drive, seems they can't agree who was going to be in charge of the wheel!
Thanks Bodily's for letting us come and hang out for the afternoon.
The sunburn's were worth it!
Kordale was also treated to some of Grandpa's famous pumpkin waffles!

9 Months!

He's gotten a little taller and has a little more chubbiness for us to love!
Crawling everywhere!

Already got the attitude going!

But he's still the center of everyone's world in this house!

Just like St. Kitts

At least that's what Morgan told me when she saw these peacocks cross through the yard.
We used to see one all the time on our way to the beach, only difference is....

NO BEACH,

BALES OF HAY, NOT TREES OF GREEN,
AND THE SNOW-CAPPED MOUNTAINS WITH THE
SMALL REMAINING MOUND IN THE YARD.
But hey, other than that I guess it is JUST LIKE ST. KITTS!
Funny the things that little mind of hers remembers.

FHE craft night

The girls have been begging, pleading and bartering with me for months to get the supplies to make flower hair clips. I decided with Chad gone for the next 3 weeks, it was a good family home evening activity for the girls.

Even Kordale was excited about craft night :)

Everyone had to get in on modeling the finished product. I figured out the cost and it was about $0.35 per clip, not bad when you consider they sell them in the store for close to $2 each!
To top it off, I even got the bathroom cleaned before they
were allowed to even plug in the hot glue gun.

An hour of my time

It's true!
It took me an hour from cutting the pieces to the finished product.
Thanks to the help of a master quilter who kept my pieces going in the right direction
and unpicking a square for me once.
But hey, I'm really proud of my accomplishment.
