Chad's in horse heaven!

Chad started his Theriogenology rotation this Monday and so far is really enjoying it. He said every day they get to palpate and ultrasound the mares. He has got to see how a twin reduction is done and did a c-section on a goat.
The first night of class he was on duty to give the nightly shots to the mares they are getting ready to breed, so we made a FHE out of it and all went for a drive to the OSU farm. It was absolutely beautiful out there. You could see for miles and all the new colts playing in the field was great for the kids. Tori didn't want to leave, she was hopping fences and chasing after her dad to see what they were going to do next.
This picture doesn't do it justice, hopefully we will get to go out again when there is a little more daylight and I can take some better pictures.

C-section on a goat! That just struck me funny.
