She's 6 already!
I've found 6 of some of my favorite memories with Morgan and a few stories to share.
Morgan Amber, 2 days old. We were all so happy to have her join our family.Monday, November 9, 2009
Tender Moments
As everyone knows Morgan always carries a song in her heart and more often then not lets it be heard. I love that about her!
This morning in all the chaos of getting the girls ready and off to school, Kordale took up residence in his safe spot of the swing and began to sing his normal tune of disgust with not getting all the attention. I was trying to help Tori find a shirt (had to be a special one- post on that to come later in the day) and came out of the room around the corner to see Morgan happily singing along with the swing to her brother. It was actually one of those moments I wish I could emblaze in my mind and hers (it will be handy when she's 12 and he's 6 and all I hear is Kordale keeps getting into my stuff) forever. So you all get to see the reinactment, which I still think is pretty cute :) Listen carefully for Kordale to give his approval to his sister on her singing.

Sheep and Goat Show Time
We were proud of the girls for sticking with their goal of showing these animals, even though they weren't the fattest of the bunch and it was hard work especially on those really hot days to feed them. They learned from the experience and already have said they don't want to raise another lamb, that goats are much easier. Jordan has decided she wants to do a cow next time...no shearing required!
Oh yes, I can't forget Morgan. She took 3 of our little chickens and entered them, she got 10th place. She has no idea that's not very good and we haven't told her, she was just happy to get some ribbons like her sisters did. Sorry, I didn't get pictures of her.

When in Oklahoma, dress as an Oklahoman
Disclosure to my Oklahoma friends....I was told by someone at church that Morgan's attire was perfectly fine because we are in Oklahoma and everyone wears their boots.

Morgan's Birthday
The big day came and of course Aunt Wendi produced a beautiful castle cake for the two princesses we were honoring (Amelia's birthday is the day after Morgan).

Happy Halloween! A few days late
Friday we almost missed out on getting to trick or treat due to the fact we were in Las Vegas meeting Richelle's family and having her bridal shower. It was fun to meet all her sisters. Then we made a dash for home and headed straight to the church for trunk or treat. However, almost all the trunks were empty, the girls got to play a few games though. We then got word that some of the housing areas in the ward were prepared for trick or treaters so we headed out to hit up a few houses.
Pumpkins were carved and set outside : Jordan's, Morgan's and Tori's. Jordan did hers on her own. I helped Tori with her and then Tori did Morgan's. It was fun to see them work together.
Here are the little goblins - Witch, Princess and Unicorn rider (the unicorn was really tired by the end of the night)

Morgan went shopping
Poor Morgan hasn't been feeling to well since our return to the states, but she was still a trooper and endured a day of trying on clothes and finding a halloween costume. In the end she was happiest about getting a new doll! Thank you grandma for the doll and clothes.

Ahhhh McDonald's
On a side note, we got to ride the plane with this famous guy....Robert Patrick on our flight to Dallas. He came into the terminal and just sat down to read a book. I'm sure he knew people were whispering about him, but he just sat there. None of us econo-class flying customers were sure if the double security check right as we got on the plane was because he was onboard or not.
