Hello Sunshine!

Oh I bet you thought I meant the real sun :)

I did!
It was a welcome relief to see the sun this past week. Kordale enjoyed running around in nothing but his diaper while playing his favorite tune on his head!

Flying Forks

What a helper I have! He unloaded all the silverware for me. I can't wait to hear what the girls say when they look in the drawer and think they are getting a spoon and pull out a fork! :)

Pinocchio

Last weekend Tori and Morgan performed with the Missoula Children's Theater in Pinocchio. It was a busy week leading up to the show, but they did great!

Morgan was a toy ballerina.

Tori was an urchin. (with strep throat)
They made new friends and look forward to doing it again next year.

How Picasso got his start

Do you think when Picasso colored on his mom's freshly painted walls she got angry and scolded him?

Did Michaelango have such a loving sister to scrub the walls for him so mom didn't quench his artistic abilities?
Luckily, our little artist has only discovered the pencils and is just cute enough that his sisters are willing to bail him out of trouble! It's also a good thing modern science has discovered "Magic Eraser".

Christmas and birthdays all in one!

December started out with Morgan turning 7! I can't believe she's that old already. She celebrated with a few friends over pizza and cake. Christmas came with us trying to get moved into a new house but Grandpa and Grandma Burt had to put up with us a little longer and all the mess that comes with Christmas morning and 12 people!

In all the chaos of opening presents and removing empty boxes we found ONE very happy little boy sitting upon his train!

Somewhere in that mess in Morgan discovering another surprise!

We ended the month with celebrating David's big 3-0!!! He's getting old folks and if you look close enough you will see a few grey hairs appearing.

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and celebrated a New Year to learn and grow!

Christmas is coming!

Santa Claus has been sighted,
the candy canes are being consumed,

Christmas lights are being hung,

and the parade has been attended.
Now we just need to get a Christmas tree! Hopefully this weekend we will all be home at the same time.

Happy Belated Birthday Jordan!

It's not that we missed Jordan's birthday we celebrated it on the 19th just like we were supposed to. However, her mother is a little slow with blog posts lately.
So Happy Birthday Jordan! We hope your year will be a great one!!

13 candles still fit just right on the cake. Of course it was her traditional "mom's homemade ice cream cake"
