We decided that some fresh eggs and a chore to keep the girls busy was needed. Last night, we brought home 10 little chicks for the girls to tend to. For now they are residents of the garage but if the weather stays nice and we get that much needed lawn mowed they should be outside in a new home by the end of next week.
Morgan is more then happy to love them and play with them all day long.
For all of you that know my extreme fear of birds. I have held these little guys for a few seconds at a time and hopefully by me handling them as they grow I won't be petrified of them when they get bigger! We will see how that goes in the months to come.
