The Jackson cousins descended upon us the last week of July. It was so great to see them again after nearly 3 years. How dare those kids grow up without me! We had a wonderful time with them even though we wish it were longer. Every day the kids would wake up and beg Martin for one more day of playing. Thank you Martin for caving in to niece pressure and staying a little longer.

We didn't really do a whole lot while they were here, unless you count the endless hours that the Wii was on and being played. You should have heard the murmuring the day we thought it was broken. It's a good thing we have a computer nerd in the group and he fixed it before the hour of murmuring was over.

The girls taught Nate how to be a goat herder.

We celebrated Pioneer Day at Lake McMurtry as a church activity. Lots of yummy food, this great water slide and
MUD! (Red mud might I add...that sticks to everything, a child's dream)

Everyone wanted to get time with Kordale, I don't think he hit is bed during the day once.

We stayed up playing and laughing way to late into the night! Made for groggy kids in the morning. Sorry Chad we kept you up and you had to go to school in the morning while we all slept.

Chad and Martin had some male bonding time playing a computer game. This is what kept them up late every night.

We did manage to get our lazy behinds up and head to the pool one afternoon.

Michelle and I just lounged by the pool with Kordale in the shade.

Chad took the little ones on a tour of the veterinary hospital. Marshel was fascinated that Uncle Chad worked in a pet hospital and is going to grow up and be a pet doctor.

Kordale enjoyed quiet moments with his Aunt Shi-shi. We hope it won't be another 3 years before we see them again.
