Thanks for guessing and for those lurkers out there who didn't guess, next time you will have to play along.

I have something veterinarian related for you in mind. :)

After viewing this as a regular post I see it's hard to read the names so they are:

Who's Who?

I thought it might be fun to have a little guessing game. Since all my kids come from the same mold let's see who can name that child.
I will give one hint...there's no baby picture of me here. (Sorry, didn't have one on this computer)

Post your guesses in the comments as left top, bottom, center and right top, bottom. Who knows there may be a prize for the right guesses!

P.S. I will post correct answers at the end of the week, give everyone a chance to get in a guess :)

Will it float?

Chad bought a raft almost a year ago while suffering from island fever. Yesterday, he finally got to put it in the water and see if it would float. We have big plans of doing some river running next summer with it...any takers wanting to join us?
We waited patiently at the dock waiting for Chad to row over to us.

Time for some relaxation and soaking up some rays!

I think the smiles say it all! We had a fun time and didn't even sink the boat! Just needs a few small patch jobs and it will be good to go. SNAKE RIVER HERE WE COME!!!!
(Lifejackets will be worn by all on that adventure)

Let's go sight-seeing

Last weekend we decided it was time to go see some of the sights of Oklahoma. We headed to Oklahoma City to Bricktown. It's the old part of Oklahoma City that has been refurbished and is now a tourist attraction. It was pretty interesting and there was a lot we didn't go see, maybe that will be another weekend.

We started out our tour with a stop at the baseball stadium. Not a major league team but it was still cool to go inside and see the field.

We took the water taxi which actually used to be a road once upon a time. This was Kordale's first official boat ride. (sorry grandpa, you missed the boat on that one..LOL)
We had a small snack at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill
Oklahoma is known for the great land race that took place. In fact, Stillwater is where the race actually began.
We passed by the Sonic Headquarters. We may have to go back and get a route 44 drink at the sit in Sonic another day. Stillwater was also the first to have a drive-in Sonic...we go there A LOT!
We went to the Oklahoma City Memorial. That is where in 1995 the building was bombed and several hundred people were killed. This is the only wall that was still standing.
They have built a huge memorial on this site and placed chairs to indicate those who were killed and where they were in the building.
We of course, had to take advantage of those season passes we bought way back when we first got to Oklahoma and stop at the amusement park.
Kordale got his first ride on the carousel. He wasn't to excited about it at first, but once he found the colorful lights and heard the music he enjoyed it more.
The girls and I got in a few rides on the roller coasters and had some good laughs.

Sheep and Goat Show Time

The time finally came for Jordan and Tori to take their animals to the county fair. It was something they have wanted to do for a lot of years. They spent the past 3 months caring for these animals to get them ready.

Tori's goat was pretty easy to groom. Just give her a bathe, blow dry (yes, they have hair dryers for animals), then brush her down.
Tori waited very patiently until it was her turn to go into the show pen.
She watched the others to learn what she needed to be doing and tried her best to show off her goat.
She came out with a 5th place ribbon and was very happy about her accomplishment.

Jordan's sheep took alot more time in grooming. That wool sure can hold A LOT of crud! We scrubbed and scrubbed, then scrubbed some more.
After a blow dry it was time to shear the sheep, which Jordan didn't care for at all. She was in tears most of the time and then when the animal got knicked with the razor that was it for her!
However, she went into the pen with a big grin on her face and had a fun time learning about how to show a sheep.
When it was all said and done Jordan got a 2nd place ribbon and couldn't have been happier!
We were proud of the girls for sticking with their goal of showing these animals, even though they weren't the fattest of the bunch and it was hard work especially on those really hot days to feed them. They learned from the experience and already have said they don't want to raise another lamb, that goats are much easier. Jordan has decided she wants to do a cow next time...no shearing required!
Oh yes, I can't forget Morgan. She took 3 of our little chickens and entered them, she got 10th place. She has no idea that's not very good and we haven't told her, she was just happy to get some ribbons like her sisters did. Sorry, I didn't get pictures of her.
