Happy Halloween Take 2

Thursday night was Stillwater's Trick or Treat night due to football games on Friday and Saturday. So we bundled up as warm as possible while still showing off our costumes and headed out. Our cowardly lion fell asleep half way through the great candy gathering event, but woke up happy to see a pretty green light stick in his bucket. We all dressed up but didn't get any pictures...that will happen tonight even if we have to hog tie the scarecrow into doing it :)

Sorry about the blurryness of my camera...I'm not sure what's going on with it. But you get the idea of how happy the kids all were.

Pumpkin Patch

Morgan's kindergarten class went to the pumpkin patch today.  They each got to pick their own pumpkin, Morgan went through about 10 before she finally settled on just the right one.

Morgan, her teacher Mrs. Longan and a friend Jaylee

She smelled the flowers and said it was "buttery"

Kordale wasn't to fond of the horrendous wind that was blowing out there, but he was a good trooper and finally closed his eyes and went to sleep.

A happy girl on her way back to school!
Oreo cookie face and pumpkin in hand.

It was alot of fun to go along and meet Morgan's friends and see how she interacts with them.

Happy Halloween! A few days late

I know I'm a few days late in sharing the Halloween fun, but it's been a busy weekend around here. In fact I can't even find the pumpkin carving pictures because they are on a different memory card.
Friday we almost missed out on getting to trick or treat due to the fact we were in Las Vegas meeting Richelle's family and having her bridal shower. It was fun to meet all her sisters. Then we made a dash for home and headed straight to the church for trunk or treat. However, almost all the trunks were empty, the girls got to play a few games though. We then got word that some of the housing areas in the ward were prepared for trick or treaters so we headed out to hit up a few houses.

Pumpkins were carved and set outside : Jordan's, Morgan's and Tori's. Jordan did hers on her own. I helped Tori with her and then Tori did Morgan's. It was fun to see them work together.

Here are the little goblins - Witch, Princess and Unicorn rider (the unicorn was really tired by the end of the night)
